For months, a bizarre and elusive thief had been terrorizing the streets of Delhi—not with weapons, but with his stomach. Deepak, a 27-year-old serial phone thief, had a truly crappy superpower: the ability to poop on command.
Whenever the police got too close, he would unleash a revolting stench, forcing them to back off while he made his escape. The Delhi cops even gave his disgusting escape tactic a name—“Poop and Run.” But now, his luck (and bowels) have finally run out.
The Dirty Escape Plan
Deepak wasn’t just another street thief; he had a method so foul that it worked multiple times. Instead of relying on speed or stealth, he would simply soil himself the moment he felt threatened. The unbearable stench would make officers hesitate, allowing him to slip away.

His poop-powered escapes had worked at least six times, frustrating law enforcement. But after months of humiliation, Delhi Police had enough. They came up with a special operation to finally bring him down.
Masked Cops Strike Back
Determined to catch Deepak, a police squad geared up with protective masks and gloves to counter his disgusting defense. On March 24, they spotted him acting suspiciously near Eidgah Park in Delhi.

As soon as Deepak saw the cops, he made a run for it. The officers gave chase, and just as expected—he deployed his filth plan.
But this time, it didn’t work. The police, unfazed and prepared, pinned him down and arrested him on the spot.
A Stinky Legacy Comes to an End
Following his arrest, police discovered that Deepak had a long criminal history, with multiple cases of phone theft and knife-related crimes across Delhi. He was charged under the Arms Act after being found with a knife, which he claimed was just his “lucky charm.”
His disgusting yet effective method of escape may have helped him avoid the law for months, but in the end, poop couldn’t save him from justice.
