Bag Labeled “Definitely Not a Bag Full of Drugs” Was, in Fact, Full of Drugs, Say Police

Two men from Wisconsin were arrested after police found cocaine, firearms, cash, and drug paraphernalia — all inside a bag boldly labeled “Definitely Not a Bag Full of Drugs.”

The incident occurred on July 7 in Pleasant Prairie, a village in southeast Wisconsin, when local police pulled over a vehicle linked to a wanted person. According to authorities, officers quickly realized the situation was more serious than a simple warrant.

After making contact, K9 Chase, a police dog trained to detect narcotics, was brought in and alerted officers to something suspicious in the vehicle. That gave the police probable cause to conduct a full search.

Inside the car, they found cocaine, a loaded gun, drug paraphernalia, and a quantity of U.S. currency — all tucked into a black bag bearing the ironic phrase: “Definitely Not a Bag Full of Drugs.”

Both the driver and passenger, men aged 37 from Kenosha, were arrested on the spot.

The driver faces charges including:

  • Possession of a firearm by a felon
  • Possession of cocaine
  • Possession of drug paraphernalia

The passenger was also charged with:

  • Carrying a concealed weapon
  • Possession of cocaine
  • Possession of drug paraphernalia

In a Facebook post, the Pleasant Prairie Police Department thanked its officers for staying alert and removing dangerous items from the streets.

While the bag’s label may have been intended as a joke, police clearly weren’t laughing.
