Arron Ragan and Allen Richards, both 27, pulled over on January 31 while traveling in Osage Beach, Missouri. Instead of following standard procedure, the duo stopped to ask local law enforcement for directions to Osage Beach. Unbeknownst to them, the officers—already in the midst of a K-9 training session with a dog named Tina—quickly noticed that the two appeared impaired.
The K-9 Connection
After informing the men that they were already in Osage Beach, the officers decided to take action. One officer deployed Tina for a sniff test. Although Ragan initially objected, the officers explained that consent wasn’t necessary for a K-9’s search. Tina promptly alerted the officers to a glass container in the vehicle that held about 2 grams of methamphetamine.

The discovery led to immediate arrests. Ragan was charged with drug possession and driving while his license was revoked, with his bond set at $7,500. Richards faces charges of drug possession, and his bond is set at $15,000.
