A Michigan teen has made history by securing not one, but two Guinness World Records for his unusually large feet and hands. Eric Kilburn Jr., a 16-year-old who stands at a towering 6 feet, 10 inches, now holds the records for the largest feet and hands of any living teenager.
Kilburn wears an astounding size 23 shoe, with his feet measuring 13.50 inches. His hands, which measure 9.13 inches, have also made him a world record holder. Eric first gained attention when NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal provided him with custom shoes last year, a gesture that helped ease the difficulties he faced in finding footwear that fit.
Despite the viral fame, Eric remains grounded. In a statement to Guinness World Records, he emphasized his desire to inspire others to embrace their uniqueness. “I love to inspire people to be them and be who you are,” he said. Though being featured in the Guinness World Records feels surreal, he expressed immense gratitude for the recognition and the opportunity to make a positive impact on others.
Kilburn credits much of his resilience and outlook to his mother, who has been a guiding influence in his life. “Her strength and how she takes such good care of my brother and me… is pretty inspiring,” he shared, noting how she taught him to face challenges head-on and keep a positive mindset.
